Globe Salon Donates Nearly $50,000 to Charity

GLOBE SALON RAISES $1410 FOR THREE SQUARE
Total Charitable Donations Almost $50,000

(LAS VEGAS, MAY 2019) —The locally-owned, award-winning, and standard-setting Globe Salon recently held a grand opening for its second location. The new salon is on the doorstep of Summerlin at the Rampart Commons lifestyle center.

The party on May 16, 2019 was a stylish mix & mingle featuring the menthol Kool musical stylings of Michael Shulman and complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres created by Honey Salt. The evening also featured a charity raffle to benefit the local Three Square food bank, featuring prizes from neighboring businesses. The raffle raised $1410 for Three Square, enough to support 4,230 meals for hungry locals. The salon’s total charitable donations are now $49,513.

“From our very first fundraiser, a cut-a-thon for the Red Cross 9-11 Relief Fund in 2001, to our most recent donation to Three Square, Globe Salon has always been about community,” said Salon Director Staci Linklater. “We are happy and humbled to have fostered a community of staff, guests, business neighbors, and vendors who share our charitable spirit. Thanks to all of them, we have been able to share almost $50,000 with charitable organizations.”
