AWARD-WINNING GLOBE SALON ANNOUNCES STATION RENTAL OPPORTUNITY
Rampart Commons Location Seeks Top-Level Self-Employed Stylists

(LAS VEGAS, FEB 2019) — Renowned for providing guests with an exceptional, award-winning guest experience, the locally-owned, nationally-respected Globe Salon is making a limited number of styling stations available to the city’s best self-employed stylists at its new uptown location. This second salon is at the northwest corner of Rampart and Charleston boulevards in the Rampart Commons lifestyle center at Summerlin. The bustling, beautiful center also boasts popular restaurants North Italia and FlowerChild, as well as Honey Salt and Redemption Fitness — the only other locally-owned businesses represented at Rampart Commons aside from Globe Salon.

In making the announcement, Salon Director Staci Linklater said, “After 18 years of working tirelessly to build our brand, we wanted to make our exceptional salon experience available to a select group of independent stylists, those who are either in the top 10% of the profession, or are working their way there by setting themselves apart from the crowd.”

Linklater continued, “We’re driven by our mission to be an adaptable, vibrant, growth-oriented professional hair salon. Making some stations available to independent stylists adds another adaptable layer to the professional career arc of a stylist at Globe Salon.”

In selecting the location for the new salon, Linklater said, “Rampart Commons has positioned itself as the most exclusive, active, and convenient luxury lifestyle center serving Summerlin. Our new location gives us the opportunity to introduce more stylists to the qualities that set Globe Salon apart. That includes providing them with a happy, comfortable, well-managed place to practice their craft, and providing their guests with a consistently exceptional experience.”

Globe Salon enlisted Dallas-based creative Kevin Brailsford (whose design of Globe Salon’s downtown salon received national recognition) to bring the uptown location to life. The salon is 2,450 square feet, with 16 styling stations ensconced in a spacious, desert-inspired design that draws on the timeless luxury of classic Las Vegas and Palm Springs. With on-trend breeze block dividing walls, white-painted brick, and a natural wood slat ceiling showcased as some of the primary architectural features, Globe Salon brings a resort-quality atmosphere to the suburbs.

Each self-contained styling station features backlit mirrors, USB ports for guests, and color-correct lighting. Designed as a salon of “neighborhoods,” stations are arranged in pairs, with stylists working next to only one person. This unique, spacious layout allows for social interaction as well as a sense of privacy. “We were very conscious to build a sense of luxury and exclusiveness into this salon, without eliminating the social aspect that often comes along with a salon visit,” said Linklater.

Other features include a semi-private shampoo lounge with six reclining shampoo chairs, color processing lounge featuring USB ports and four state-of-the-art Takara-Belmont Rollerball F processors, walk-through color lab, private guest changing area, designer restroom, sound-engineered sound system, and a large employee break room with laundry. The salon also acts as a gallery, featuring artwork from Kevin Brailsford and Las Vegas artist Jerry Misko.

While developing its uptown location, Globe Salon extended its commitment at downtown’s Soho Lofts, with Linklater confident that the two locations will raise the profile for both.

“We have been working toward the goal of two locations — a downtown Globe Salon and an uptown one — for many years. We are so happy to have achieved it, and are thrilled at the opportunity to introduce more people to what we do,” says Linklater. “We are also very excited to offer an elevated, well-managed salon brand for the best Las Vegas hairdressers to practice under.”
