Hairdresser | Commission

We are always searching for exceptional hairdressers to grow our team of amazing stylists and pamper our steady flow of guests. This is an ideal opportunity for stylists relocating to Las Vegas, those who wish to transition from a resort salon to a local salon, and those who are looking for a professional salon to call home. Bring your hard tools, your skills, and your top-game attitude, and build long-term success and work-life balance with us.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Nevada State Board of Cosmetology license and 4+ years of current chair experience in an upscale salon. Ideal candidates will want to work 32+ hours a week, including Saturdays, to start.

COMPENSATION: This is a professional stylist opportunity that offers a generous service commission + retail commission + earned tips. Our commissioned hairdressers are W-4 employees and benefits are offered. Six-figure incomes are possible.

Licensed Apprentice

Every amazing hairdresser we know began their journey by completing a proper Assistant Program. Become the best hairdresser you can be by working through our exclusive Hairstylist Graduate Program. This structured program is led by our Salon Director, offers both formal and informal education, and lays the groundwork for your confident, successful career behind the chair.

This work-and-learn experience offers an opportunity to earn your way to a chair at Globe Salon while absorbing our culture of success, professionalism, and work-life balance. It requires assisting our experienced Creative Team and as well as completion of our in-house Education Boot Camp (up to 25 classes), which will elevate your skills and confidence, enabling you to grow and succeed behind the chair. Qualified Apprentices typically graduate to a Globe Salon chair after about 1000 hours in this program and possess skills at the level of a typical fourth-year hairdresser.

REQUIREMENTS: This exclusive and extremely limited program requires commitment, focus, passion, talent, the right attitude, and a Nevada State Board of Cosmetology license. Preference given to recent cosmetology graduates, but will consider all qualified candidates.

Salon Assistants & Shampoo Techs

We offer two salon floor opportunities for those who aren’t ready (or perhaps licensed) for our Apprentice Program but want to work in a salon. If you are currently in cosmetology school and want a jump on the Apprentice Program at Globe Salon, consider being a part-time licensed Shampoo Technician. You can begin working with us while completing cosmetology school, which will expose you to our salon culture and give you a substantial head start on our Apprentice Program. Alternatively, if you already have a cosmetology license and either aren’t ready or don’t want the grind of our Apprentice Program, we may have room for you as a Salon Assistant.

REQUIREMENTS: An applicable Nevada State Board of Cosmetology license, plus passion and the right attitude

COMPENSATION: Hourly wage + earned tips + invaluable salon experience

Hairdresser | Self-Employed

Front Desk Coordinator

Our Front Desk associates and Salon Coordinators are friendly, outgoing, multi-tasking guest service superstars who confidently manage our front desk and associated responsibilities with confidence and a sincere smile. This position requires personable guest service and telephone skills, and is for the very detail-oriented, responsible, reliable and self-motivated only. You must be able to confidently handle multiple demands at once, as you are responsible for managing guest flow and transactions, booking appointments, and more. Guest service, personality, aptitude and attitude are all equally important. Your work schedule will be predictable, and Saturdays are generally required. Experience is preferred, but will train exceptional candidates.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Luxury hair salon front desk, computer-based salon management/booking software (we use STX). Additional helpful experience includes restaurant FOH, retail sales, cash handling, credit card transactions, and inventory management.

COMPENSATION: to $18/hr DOE and level of responsibility, with potential for additional growth. Benefits are available at full time.
