REVIEW-JOURNAL: Globe Salon's Fabulous (Fashion) Fling II at Beauty Bar Raises Funds for AFAN

In anticipation of relocating downtown, Globe Salon produced and presented its second Fashion Fling in a downtown venue, the Beauty Bar at the East Fremont Entertainment District. Themed “Magic & Mystery,” attendees were submerged in a cabaret/circus atmosphere featuring sideshow performers, jugglers, stilt walkers and a snake dancer. Thanks to the generousity of the venue and our other sponsors, guests also indulged in complimentary food and beverages, as well as a Globe Salon-produced fashion show introduced by Erin Murphy and featuring clothes from Betsey Johnson and The Attic. Fashion Fling II raised nearly $5000 for the non-profit Aid for AIDS of Nevada. The Las Vegas Review-Journal covered the event for its Image section.
